About PracticeKit

Internal practice tools for Wye Valley Surgery

Created by Dr Krishnan Pasupathi

MBBS MBA MRCGP. NHS GP Partner at Wye Valley Surgery, High Wycombe. Clinical Safety Officer. Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC: 6050795) and Member of the Medical Defence Union.

What PracticeKit does

PracticeKit is a suite of internal tools built for Wye Valley Surgery. It currently includes two tools:

  • TestPlain — Generates clear, personalised explanations for blood test results that patients can understand. Staff enter test details, AI generates a plain English explanation, and the GP reviews and approves before sending.
  • CARE Navigation — Clinical triage decision support for care navigators. Assesses symptoms across 12 clinical pathways, screens for red flags, and routes patients to the right clinician based on NICE guidelines.

Important

PracticeKit supports clinical workflow — it does not replace clinical judgement.

All AI-generated content must be reviewed and approved by a qualified GP before being sent to patients. Triage outcomes are advisory and must be interpreted in the clinical context.

When in doubt, escalate. Safety netting is built into every pathway.

Clinical governance

  • DCB0129 Clinical Risk Management compliant
  • Complete audit trail of all actions
  • GP approval required for all patient-facing content
  • UK reference ranges (NHS/NICE compliant)
  • NICE guideline-aligned triage pathways
  • Data Protection Impact Assessment in place
  • Row-level security and encryption at rest
